District Elder, Hershal Massenburge

Hershal Massenburge is the second born son of Elder Melvin Massenburge and Evangelist Annie Massenburge . He has five other siblings Melvin, Elvin, Princess, Chandra, and Vernessea . Elder Massenburge was called to minister at the age of 15. He assisted his father, in the ministry as a Sunday School Teacher. Youth Pastor, and Assistant Pastor of Glorious Morning Apostolic Church. From 1991 to 1994 he coordinated a youth fellowship that consisted of numerous churches in the Eastern District of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World. He married his sweetheart, Cherie in 1990. The couple has been blessed with two adorable daughters, Bretney and Treasure. In 1995 Elder Hershal Massenburge and his family were called to join the ministry of Zion Temple Apostolic Church in Tyler under the Pastorate of Suffragan Bishop Leon Parker. The ministry started out small with just a hand full of members . By faith and holding to the promises of God, the ministry has grown and abounded. In November of 2003 Suffragan Bishop Parker installed Elder Hershal Massenburge as Pastor of Zion Temple Apostolic Church in Tyler. The Ministry continues to grow and abound while God’s favor continues to shine on them. Elder Massenburge holds a Bachelors Degree in Industrial Management from the University of Texas at Tyler and is pursuing a master degree in Religious Studies. Pastor Massenburge has also served a Vice President of the Texas State Young People Union of Texas State Council of Pentecostal Assemblies of the World.
